My partner and I had a marvelous home-buying experience with Holly Bergren. We are new to Chicago and we knew we liked the area of Edgewater, Andersonville, and Rogers Park. Holly quickly zeroed in on the kinds of properties we were interested in: vintage (1900-1930), lots of space (1800+ sq. ft.), close to train and restaurants. As we looked at more and more properties (I'd guess we looked at a couple of dozen), Holly as able to find several prospects that we could seriously consider. Our budget didn't make this easy. In the end, we decided on a property that was quite close to the lake and less than a 5-minute walk to our daughter's school. Finally, Holly was candid about the negotiating process and we were confident as we began to consider the offer we would make to the seller.
