I'm so happy I reached out to Brian when I started my search for a new rental apartment in Chicago this Spring!!! I've been in Chicago for nearly 6 years now and I've always looked for apartments on my own. As anyone looking for a rental can attest to, it's a pain and can take up a TON of time with a low percentage of success. NOT THE CASE THIS TIME!!! I sent Brian a text and he touched base with me over the phone within an hour. I explained what I was looking for, neighborhoods I was interested in and budget and he set me up to receive curated apartment links via email daily that I was able to review at my leisure. At first I didn't see anything I was interested in but one day I was sent a link for the perfect place and I emailed Brian asking to set up a showing ASAP (I was ready to leave work and bring my check book for this place). Brian responded within minutes confirming he would reach out and followed up shortly after that confirming we could see the apartment that afternoon! After speaking with the listing agent, Brian learned that in less than 12 hours of posting there were already over 20 showings scheduled for the weekend and 2 applications submitted without seeing the unit so I knew I had competition! Brian provided some suggestions on how to set myself apart from other applicants but at no point pressured me to go through with any of them. I did however choose to proceed with his suggestions and after seeing the apartment on Friday afternoon and falling in love as expected, we were notified Saturday morning that they had accepted my application and cancelled the remaining showings for the weekend!!! It was such a relief for my apartment search to be over so quickly and painlessly. I could not be happier with the entire process and honestly don't think I would have gotten the apartment had Brian not been involved!!
