Karen is highly knowledgeable about the property market in the various areas of Skokie and Evanston (pricing, availability, locational amenities and disamenities, etc.). She shared her knowledge with us, but at the right time and most often in response to our questions or observations. She did a good job selecting and recommending properties for us to view, and at the same time she did not dissuade us from examining properties that we had chosen from the web. She understands that examining houses is a learning process for potential buyers, and she responded in useful ways as we thought through our needs and preferences. She was more interested in helping us find a house that met our needs than in finding one that met the needs of others (sellers, realtors, etc.). In the inspection and closing processes, the inspector and attorney that she recommended to us were highly competent and well suited for us.
