Let me start by saying I found Nate randomly by searching Yelp for realtors who focus on the Lincoln park/lakeview/north side of Chicago area. His positive reviews led myself and my boyfriend to contact him on a whim. As first time home buyers, we were quite uninformed and naive about the whole process. We couldn't be happier with our experience with Nate. Right off the bat, Nate was professional, honest, upfront, and attentive. He shared a presentation with us to inform us about the process, and listened exactly to what we wanted in our search for our first home. He is extremely quick to answer emails and and phone calls. Often, if we found a property we were interested in, we would be able to schedule a viewing that evening or the next day. He is extremely organized and accessible. Never once did he make us feel pressured or uncomfortable, and he was very helpful in walking us through the process of searching for a home. Nate goes beyond being a good realtor. He is a good person. My boyfriend and I quickly bonded with Nate and enjoyed our sometimes long afternoons of marathon viewings. He made the potentially exhausting process fun and relieved a lot of our stress. When we were finally ready to bid on a property, Nate was quick to act. Unfortunately, the seller's agency was shady and did not disclose that the property was already under contract with a contingency. Although we were disappointed, I think Nate was actually more upset than we were. This just goes to show how seriously he takes his job and how much he cares about his clients. Luckily, we literally decided to bid on a different property the next day. Nate was a swift negotiator and was accurate in his prediction of what we would actually get the property for. I am 100% sure he was acting in our best interests and trust him completely. My boyfriend and I are so pleased that we randomly met Nate and got to work with him.
