We worked with Sarah both to buy a new house and to sell our old one that we'd been in for a while. It was frustrating timing because we faced a pretty dry market. Sarah was the perfect person to work with in a situation like this. She doesn't just check boxes; she brainstorms ways that she can help. She's very creative about mining listings and potential listings. We walked in to view a handful of houses that they were still touching up; we were the first people they'd been convinced to let in. Selling our old house with Sarah was amazing. The people she put us in touch with to get the place ready were first rate, and we pretty much use all of them now to help work on our new place. The house sold quickly while comparable properties continued to sit. One year later, we regularly come up with householder questions that she's able to help us with. I have an impulse to try to do things myself when I can rather than hire someone else, so even though I was pretty sure working with a realtor to buy and sell was a good idea, at the start of this process I was not feeling great about it. Now that it's over (which is kind of sad), we feel lucky that Sarah was recommended to us. Working with her easily paid for itself, and I can't imagine us being in a better spot right now.
