"Realtors don't get much in the way of kudos, and they do more for their clients than a lot of people realize. A good one is equal parts therapist, business advisor, negotiator, diplomat, silver-tongue, horse (human) whisperer, cat herder, and pit-bull. You want them on your side. And this particular Realtor deserves ALLLLLL the kudos. We are in a beautiful new home that exceeded anything we ever thought we could get...in the middle of a pandemic. And I exaggerate not at all when I say that without Stephanie Sullivan, this would never, ever have happened. I won't regale you with the messy, infuriating, craziness of the first place we were going to buy. Know that Stephanie was an indefatigable, intrepid rock who absolutely would have made that happen if we'd insisted. But we listened to the universe and figured out that place was not for us. And moved on. And this new place just sang to us. Stephanie moved heaven and earth to market and sell our place (again PANDEMIC). And this new place? It was a multiple offer situation where the other offer was...almost identical. Two things got us this place: a letter we wrote to the sellers, which Stephanie insisted we write, and the agent on the other side, who just plain trusted Stephanie to work through the deal with her. And from there, Stephanie talked us off ledges about six times, played go-between for us with the sellers, the agent, the attorneys, and even our mortgage broker when things near the end just got too confusing for us to deal with. She counseled, she smoothed, she ran interference. She made things happen, and when necessary, she played hard-ball. When you want to buy or sell? This is a person you want to work with. We owe her a TON."
