This funky, cool, hip neighborhood is bursting with energy. Formerly a meatpacking district, many of the area's warehouses have been converted into phenomenal loft spaces. With one of the city's largest concentration of working artists, it's no surprise the area is overflowing with art galleries and design shops. And with some of the city's best restaurants mixed in between local bars and coffee shops, it's no surprise the West Loop is fast becoming one of the city's hottest neighborhoods.
